Lobster. (Warning-Long entry. Worth reading!)

Basically, my face looks like a lobster.
I'm so friggin' burnt! Except for my laugh lines, which are still purely white.
Attractive, I know.
Makes me look like a cartoon Basset Hound.
FML.
Haha.
So..what's been happening lately? Hmmm.
Okay. I have been running non-stop basically all summer! My social life is BOOMING. Haha.
Rare, I know.
So last week I was texting my friend and we were excited about this church dance because the kids we like were going to be there (they're brothers), and then she found out that they weren't coming because they were coming back from a long trip that Saturday. But she and I decided to have an awesome time at the dance. So, that Saturday, I went jet skiing with mah family (yeah, my uncle came down and was like I WANNA JET SKIIII!!!!) and so my bro and I were riding one and we flipped 4 times. He flipped us 3 times, I flipped us once.
I have major skillage I guess. :) It was so fun though!
Then my brother brought me home and my friend picked me up, and we went to my house to get ready (we were planning on matching.. but it didn't work out..) and since I figured that the kid I like wasn't going to be there, I didn't try to fix myself.. (My hair was kind of.. flippy looking.. and I didn't wear any mascara at all... I looked very Scandinavian) so we drove and picked up our friends, and none of them were very tiny.. (I was the skinniest person in the car other than the driver... Yeah.)
So we got to the dance and I found some Corvallis friends and I was like "dude yes!" and we were dancing around and stuff. It was fun, but I wasn't enjoying myself as much as I wanted to.
...That's when the kid I like walked up. I WAS LIKE "ZOMGWTF?" and I started freaking out.
I didn't expect him. He took me by surprise because he grabbed me around my waist and I was like "AHHH!" because that's what I do. So I ended up just spending some quality me and him time...that was a good dance. ;)
So then on Monday I went camping with Beqi, Lindsey, and the Dealy's. It was so fun! We swam in the river a lot and ate a ton of food. On Tuesday night we got rained on pretty hard and it didn't end until Wednesday, when we left.
But it wasn't terrible, I guess. That night I went to a farewell party for my (basically sister) Molly, who moved to Utah! :( I'm so sad! She's going to U of U.. she got a scholarship.
So yeah. Then Friday, I went to the Scandinavian festival with Beqi and her parents (I spend a lot of time with their family..) and we had a lot of fun and ate a lot of food..again.. Then we came home and I grabbed my stuff and we went back to Beqi's, assuming we'd have a nice evening of watching Coraline with her brother and sleeping and such.
Definitely didn't happen. We watched 5 minutes of Coraline, and then we heard a knock on the door.
It was Leman! He came to pick us up (for some reason, he had Sam Schnake's car) so we went out to his car (he kidnapped us) and found that Javan and Marcus Eveler were in there (who knows why) so we went and dropped them off, then went to Shell so Leman could ask for some time off of work.. and the whole time he did that, Beqi and I ran around the intersection by Dairy Queen. Yeah, we pressed all the buttons and ran. Then we drove to Corvallis and decided we all needed to pee and Leman needed to wash his hands (he had punted a live fish earlier... inhumane, I know) so we went to Fred Meyer, and low and behold, we found Robbie Eberhardt-Garah! It was so weird! So we stood around talking there for a while, then we decided it'd be good to just go to his house, so we went with all of his roommates (all of his roommates except for Beqi's brother, who was at Beqi's house) and we hung out there for like 3 hours (he has the coolest fort. Ever.) Then Leman brought us back home and we stargazed for a while, then Leman left, and so we watched an episode of Chuck and fell asleep.
Then this morning I woke up at 8 and went to Honeyman park! It is so fun there. I spent the whole day swimming and jumping. Seriously. I swam across that lake and back 2 times. Like down-back, down-back. It was fun. :) We went to the floating dock and I did a lot of flips off of it (My favorite are front flips) and I dive-tackled Tara into the water. ^^ it was enjoyable.
I'm now a lobster.
And that was a freaking long entry.
Tell me how your summer has been!
PLEASE. :)
I would love to know. :)
And I'm very much so interested. :)

I don't claim to be good at any form of art. I squiggle things and take pictures and think that they look nice and so I post them. I believe that art is not as much for the pleasure of others as it is for the relieving of the artist. I find that if I work hard on a piece of art I may appreciate it, but I will feel like it is lacking emotion, and therefore the piece will be nearly worthless to me. I don't like to post things that I think are a waste of time, and I don't post often. I post when I can and I post what I can. I love art, but not as much as music, and I don't love music as much as I love family. Art is third in my life. It's a mere bullet on my list of adoration, henceforth making it a hobby, not a career option for me.
